Managing the availability status

On the Availability page a user can set availability settings. A new setting is done on the Create new sections, where can be defined the start and end times of the availability status. If the status is needed to be continuous without an ending time, the user must tick the Continuous checkbox. The availability statuses are:

  • Busy

  • Do not disturb

  • Off work

The text written into the Note field will be shown in all user’s terminals as additional information to the user’s availability status.

Creating a new availability status

  1. Click the Availability button on the Main page or on the Main menu

  2. Select the status from the Availability dropdown menu (Busy, Do not disturb, or Off work)

  3. If the status needs to be continuous, check the Continuous check box.

  4. Select the start and end times for the status from the Calendar and click the Ok button

  5. If needed, the return time can be written into the Note field, to make the return time visible in the directory

  6. Confirm the selections by clicking the Save button

Removing an availability status

To remove an availability status, click the red Delete button.

Continuous availability state

If you select Continuous in the above view, this means that the upcoming availability doesn’t have an end time and will continue to stay. Please note, if you have an active work schedule in your settings then you will automatically be set as Available according to your work schedule. To not have the work schedule stop your upcoming availability, please set an end time instead of Continuous - or alternatively disable your work schedule.
