Voice for Browser user guide

Voice for Browser is a softphone based on WebRTC technology. The softphone can be used with Chrome browser without any extra installations. Windows supported audio devices can be used as such.

Functionality

  • Availability management

  • Contact directory (company and personal)

  • Answering, ending and rejecting offered phone calls

  • Making a call using contact directory, keypad, or call history

  • Changing the phone number shown to a call recipient (CLI)

  • Muting / Unmuting the microphone

  • Holding / Unholding the call

  • Call transfer (direct transfer and consulted transfer)

  • DTMF with a keypad

  • A caller identification in the contact directory

  • Personal service pool membership management

  • Service pool monitoring

  • Service pool details (who is serving and their settings)

  • Personal direct and service pool call history

  • Personal settings like audio device and language selection

  • SMS sending and changing of sender number

  • Wrap-up time after service call with automatic or manual wrap-up finishing

  • Call recording pause/resume during a call

  • Work role selection for outbound calls

  • View caller’s identity when using strong authentication
