Receiving a call
When receiving a call, the phone plays a ringing tone on alert audio device.
See more on audio devices: Menu and settings
The phone displays the incoming call with possible caller photo, name and phone number. Buttons at bottom answer or reject the call.
Receiving a service call
When an incoming service call is received and the phone is ringing, the service queue name can be displayed, depending on the service queue configuration.
Additionally, the waiting time in the last queue is shown. The start time is calculated from the moment the call is added to the actual allocation queue. This means that any time spent listening to prompts, announcements, or navigating the IVR menu of the service queue is not included in this waiting time.
Notification from an incoming call
If permissions for notifications have been given, then you will be notified about incoming calls with an on-screen popup. Popup notification is displayed even when the Voice for Browser window is hidden or minimized. See more about permissions: Sign in
Notifications not displayed
Notifications are not supported on all platforms where the Voice for Browser is embedded, or the platform may have their own custom notifications with proprietary settings. However, notifications are supported on standalone Voice for Browser.
