Menu and settings

Menu area contains several different settings.

It can be accessed from top navigation:

Audio devices

This view has audio device selections for speakers, microphone and alert. You can select which audio devices on your system to use. You can change the audio devices here before or during a call:

Alert volume level can be changed with the Alert volume slider. Speakers and microphone volume remain unaffected. This allows the agent to set the alert sound at desired volume level while keeping speakers and microphone levels as they were.

If alert sound volume level is too low, then a warning is displayed after clicking on Save button:

Available on Voice for Browser 2023.3.2 and later.

Language

User interface language of the phone can be selected. Currently the supported languages are:

  • English

  • Dutch

  • Finnish

  • Swedish

VoiceHub settings

For further settings related to your calls, availability, transfers, etc. you can access VoiceHub user settings. This link opens a new browser window or tab.

About

This view displays the Voice for Browser version number you are using and your username:

Sign out

Clicking on Sign out ends your session and you are no longer able to use Voice for Browser. You can sign in again.
