Voice for Windows

Voice for Windows is a softphone application for Windows. The application is installed to Windows workstation, updates can be automated through the Internet. The User interface can be adapted to various user needs, from the very basic softphone to the Switchboard.

Call handling

  • Answering, ending, and rejecting offered phone calls

  • Making a call using contact directory, keypad, or call history

  • Muting / Unmuting the microphone

  • Holding / Unholding the call

  • Call parking (switchboard function)

  • Handling of returning calls (switchboard function)

  • Call transfer (direct transfer and consulted transfer)

  • DTMF with a keypad

Callback handling

  • Callback case auto-allocation

  • Callback case manual picking (optional to auto-allocation)

  • Callback case handling (call, close, postpone, etc.)

  • Callback call classification

  • Callback list membership handling

Other

  • Changing the phone number shown to a call recipient

  • Personal and service pool call history

  • Service pool membership management

  • Service pool groups

  • Service pool monitoring

  • Service pool details (who is serving and their settings)

  • Contact directory: company and personal

  • Caller (directory contact) or service pool identification and pop-up info view

  • Availability management - also other users' when in Switchboard mode

  • Call wrap-up time handling

  • Sending an SMS to any number or to directory contact
