Selecting an availability

You can change your availability by selecting the availability card on the front page:

After that, on Availability view, you can select any status:

Selected status takes effect immediately.

The availability setting is visible to others in the organization’s directory and the status also effects the call routing. For example, when a person’s availability is set to ”Offwork”, the incoming calls can be routed automatically to another phone number.

Please note, that the list of available statuses differs between organizations and your list above may be different.

Availability editing

You can change your status and you can also edit current availability’s end time, optional call transfer and text note.

Select any other status than the green Available and then select the editing icon:

For example, when you are on vacation, it’s easy to change your status to let other users know when you are back and redirect the calls to another number until you return. Other users will see your availability status, end time and possible text note.

Transfer can be set for the duration of the availability state. This transfer will override other possible transfers you have specified in Additional settings.

Please note that any edits to your current availability will be discarded after the end time or when another status is selected. The changes are not saved in the availability status for next time you select the same status.

Upcoming availabilities

It is possible to create upcoming availabilities for yourself which take place in the future.

Upcoming availabilities can be viewed and accessed from Availability view:

Add new link allows adding of new upcoming availability.

You can also delete your upcoming availabilities in the above view.

You can set start and end time, call transfer, and note text for an upcoming availability. For example, if you know you will be on a business trip whole week, you can set that availability state beforehand and it will be automatically switched on at the starting time:

If you select Continuous in the above view, this means that the upcoming availability doesn’t have an end time and will continue to stay. Please note, if you have an active work schedule in your settings then you will automatically be set as Available according to your work schedule. To not have work schedule stop your upcoming availability, please set an end time instead of Continuous - or alternatively disable your work schedule.
